This was our second foray into flipping, and we were pretty pleased with the whole experience. We bid at a handful of early morning auctions on the steps of the county courthouse before finally landing this one — there's something addictive about that ritual. Then came the real work: hauling garbage, cleaning out the interior, scrolling Craigslist for help, and making the inevitable parade of Lowe's runs. The eventual staging and sale were both highly anticipated and a little bittersweet — when it sold, it meant the whole adventure was over.
